Drawing and Painting in Confinement

These have been strange days. We all had to find ways to deal with a new reality. Fortunately for us, the students' desire to continue learning has not diminished!

With the help of digital channels, we have found ways to deal with distance and to continue helping everyone to progress.

The hurdles seemed many, but as classes continued we found that many things where improved. Students’ focus, for example. All of them set up their work stations at home and doubled their efforts in responding to the exercises, many of them beyond the time of the class!

The demonstrations also went very well with our camera above the work area giving a privileged point of view to all students.

Sharing images through Zoom (the application we use to give classes) allows for greater attention, and intervening digitally on the images in real time increases the effectiveness of the explanation.

We will certainly miss some of these improvements but look forward to the day when we will meet again in the classroom!

We have to thank everyone for the support and for the work done so far. We promise to bring more learning proposals soon.

Here are some images to give an idea of how it’s been going recently.
